Welcome to my Happy Place Services

At Happy Place Gardening, I’m here to help you enjoy your outdoor space without the faff. Whether it’s taming a wild lawn, politely suggesting weeds find somewhere else to live, or giving your garden a seasonal boost, I’ve got it covered. I bring the tools, the know-how, and a genuine love of all things leafy. You won’t find complicated packages or confusing jargon — just honest, reliable garden care, with a side of muddy boots and smiles. Have a browse below and see how I can help keep your garden looking lovely all year round.

Lawn Care

Lawns are wonderful when they’re lush, green and picnic-ready — not so much when they’re scruffy, patchy or taking over the path. I offer regular mowing, edging and trimming to keep everything looking tidy and well-behaved. If your lawn’s feeling a bit tired, I can also help with feeding, reseeding, or just a good old pep talk (grass is surprisingly responsive). I’ll even edge those tricky corners that most mowers pretend don’t exist.

Whether it’s a small patch or a sprawling sweep, your lawn will get the same level of care and attention. Weekly, fortnightly or one-off visits are all welcome. You don’t have to worry about a thing — just sit back and enjoy the freshly-cut grass smell.

Weeding & Pruning

Weeds are like uninvited guests — always showing up where they’re not wanted and refusing to leave quietly. I’ll remove them (gently but firmly) and keep your beds and borders looking sharp and healthy. From wayward brambles to plants that have ideas above their station, I’ll get things back under control. I also handle light pruning, deadheading and general faffing that helps your garden flourish.

It’s not just about tidiness — proper weeding and pruning helps your plants thrive and your garden feel balanced and beautiful. No harsh chemicals, no plant panic — just patient, thoughtful care. If there’s a tricky climber or a rebellious rose, I’ve probably met its cousin before. I can also help identify mystery weeds (yes, that is one) and stop them in their tracks. A good tidy-up makes everything feel more manageable — and your plants will thank you for it.

Seasonal Tidy-Ups

Gardens change with the seasons, and sometimes they need a helping hand to keep up. Whether it’s clearing leaves in autumn, prepping beds in spring or giving everything a spruce in summer, I’ll get stuck in so you don’t have to. Seasonal tidy-ups are a great way to reset and refresh your space.

I can trim back overgrowth, sweep paths, clear debris, tidy borders, and make sure everything’s ready for whatever the British weather throws at us next. No judgment if it’s been a while — gardens have a way of getting ahead of us.

These visits are perfect before guests arrive, after a storm, or just when it’s all gotten a bit much. Think of it as a deep-clean for your green space — minus the bleach.
